Rui Pereira

Rui Pereira is a Portuguese product designer based in Copenhagen. Through Pereira Office, he works across product design and visual direction, exploring materials, manufacturing techniques and familiar product typologies from new perspectives. Alongside his independent practice, Pereira works as design and visual direction manager for HAY. His Barro collection for HAY draws on Portugal’s long tradition of terracotta craftsmanship, translating it into simple contemporary tableware.
